Chris Graul has over two decades of experience in scientific research and lab operations, bringing a practical, end-user perspective to his role as a Senior Lab Planner at HFA. With a background in natural sciences and 18 years in pharmaceutical research, he understands the daily demands and challenges of lab environments.

In 2021, Chris entered the design field, applying his firsthand lab knowledge to shape spaces that are both beautiful and highly functional. At HFA, he leads programming efforts and serves as a subject matter expert, helping project teams anticipate operational needs and optimize workflow.

His approach ensures labs are not only well designed, but built with purpose to support scientific performance. Known for his collaborative mindset and positive outlook, Chris helps make the design process clear, engaging, and rewarding for clients.
