Refrigeration Engineer
Kyle Lo is a Mechanical Engineer on the Refrigeration team at HFA with four years of experience in the architecture and engineering industry. Specializing in refrigeration design for the past three years, Kyle also has expertise in HVAC and plumbing design. His role involves creating detailed construction drawings for refrigeration systems and building automation, selecting and coordinating equipment with manufacturers, and collaborating across disciplines to ensure seamless project execution. Kyle currently focuses on Walmart remodel and CAP-X projects, representing HFA as the refrigeration designer for all projects in collaboration with HP Engineering, an MEP firm. In this capacity, Kyle works with both in-house teams and outside consultants to deliver high-quality results for complex projects. In addition to his technical expertise, Kyle is passionate about fostering growth within his team. He plays an active role in onboarding new team members and previously initiated a company study group to help colleagues prepare for the Mechanical P.E. exam. Kyle earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2018 and achieved his Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in 2024. His deep knowledge of refrigeration and building automation systems, coupled with his commitment to collaboration and mentorship, make him an integral part of the HFA team.
