Rachid Farah is a Senior Engineer at HFA, where he leads multi-unit residential structural design and provides cross-market support backed by over 35 years of engineering experience. Known for his technical depth and client-first mindset, he specializes in new construction, renovations, and complex rehabilitations.
He brings to HFA a strong background in affordable housing and mixed-use development. His experience includes award-winning projects such as The Kenzi at Bartlett Station and the Michael E. Haynes Arms Building, two recent Boston-based developments. These projects addressed complex structural and community-driven goals, skills he continues to apply at HFA.
Before joining HFA, Rachid operated his own firm, R J Farah Engineering Inc., for 15 years. He also served as president of the Boston Association of Structural Engineers (BASE) and remains active in SEAMASS and ASCE. Recognized for his clear communication and collaborative approach, Rachid is a trusted resource for demanding structural challenges.
