Project Info
The Springfield Cardinals Master Plan reimagines the existing 8,000-plus spectator ballpark as a year-round destination that supports a range of events beyond baseball. HFA is providing concept design and master planning services for the project. The plan introduces a more connected layout, improved circulation, and expanded program areas to enhance both game-day and non-game-day use. A key component of the plan is a continuous 360-degree concourse that improves connectivity throughout the stadium and supports new activity zones. These include expanded food and beverage areas, social gathering spaces, family-focused amenities, and flexible outdoor areas designed to accommodate a variety of uses. The plan also introduces a range of seating and premium spaces, along with areas for interactive activities and group events. These additions support a broader mix of users while increasing opportunities for private events and community programming. The master plan establishes a flexible framework for future development, allowing the stadium to support concerts, festivals, and other events alongside baseball, while improving overall functionality and long-term use of the venue.
