HFA recently named Aksel Solberg, AIA, NCARB, as Development Design Studio Lead. Based out of the company’s Northeast studio in Franklin, Mass., Solberg will lead HFA’s Real Estate Development team, especially as they continue to grow their work in a range of new markets.

“On behalf of all of us at HFA, I’m proud to witness Aksel’s continued impact on our studio,” said Vice President, James Owens, AIA, NCARB. “His creativity, passion, and breadth of design knowledge allow him to bring a unique perspective to every project. We’re lucky to have him as a leader within our industry.”

Solberg brings his industry knowledge and experience leading HFA's Franklin studio to a wide array of projects, including retail, mixed-use, multi-family, commercial office, and cannabis cultivation.

“It’s an honor to work with the talented people at HFA,” Solberg said. “We have the best of the best here and everyone has the highest sense of pride in their work. I’m grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with our team and our clients throughout the country on some amazing AE projects.”

Throughout his 12 years in the AE industry, Solberg has developed a talent for building trusted relationships with both clients and fellow team members.  With a keen eye for detail and the ability to uphold ever-important architectural design principles, Solberg ensures that no matter the scale of the project, it is treated with the utmost importance and attention by both him and his team.

Solberg concludes he’s excited to be a part of HFA’s continued growth within the Northeast market and eager to help expand their reach, both nationally and within new sectors in the future.
