HFA Welcomes Austin Munsch as Client Partnerships Lead

With firsthand experience in general contracting, Munsch brings a deep appreciation for the role architects and engineers play in delivering seamless, successful outcomes—and is ready to build stronger client partnerships at HFA.

HFA Architecture + Engineering is proud to welcome Austin Munsch as its new Client Partnerships Lead. Based in the Dallas-Fort Worth region, Austin is taking a national approach to expanding HFA’s presence in the Retail and Hospitality + Entertainment sectors, helping drive strategic growth both regionally and across the country.

Bringing a strong background in relationship-building and strategic growth, Austin steps into his new role with a passion for the industry and a commitment to helping clients navigate the project lifecycle—from initial concept through construction. With more than three years of experience on the construction side, Austin offers a unique perspective that bridges both the design and delivery phases of a project.

“We’re genuinely excited to have Austin on board to help lead growth in our Retail and Hospitality sectors, as well as across the Southwest region. I’ve known Austin for a couple of years, and from our very first meeting, he stood out — sharp, thoughtful, and incredibly easy to work with. He built a strong network in the AEC industry and brings the kind of strategic thinking and relationship-driven approach that aligns perfectly with where HFA is headed,” said Ed Damphousse, Senior Client Partnerships Lead.

Prior to joining HFA, Austin held various sales roles that emphasized persistence, strategic thinking, and client-first solutions. His experience as part of a general contracting team deepened his appreciation for the vital role architects and engineers play in creating seamless, successful outcomes for clients. Now at HFA, he’s eager to apply those insights to connect the right clients with the firm’s multidisciplinary expertise.

“I’ve always been drawn to architecture, and being able to work on the front end of a project before construction begins is something I find really exciting,” Austin shared. “The scale and detail of these projects is incredible, and HFA’s reputation, history, and people make it a natural fit for me. I’m excited to help expand the firm’s portfolio and build lasting client relationships based on trust and shared values.”

In his role, Austin will focus on growing HFA’s client base by identifying strong cultural and operational matches, ensuring both sides benefit from long-term, collaborative partnerships.
