Marc Jennings Joins HFA as Vice President of Logistics

Jennings brings more than 25 years of industry experience to his role within the architecture, construction, and development community in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metro.

HFA recently announced the appointment of Marc Jennings, RA, as Vice President of Logistics. Jennings is a graduate of the University of Texas-Arlington with more than 25 years of industry experience within the architecture, construction, and development community in Dallas. Jennings is also a licensed architect in the state of Texas.

Jennings most recently served as Vice President of Projects at Jones Lang La Salle (JLL), which had him in the leadership group of their multi-site team for the past few years. On many occasions during that time, he had the opportunity to meet and work collaboratively with some of HFA’s multi-site teams.

“One of the primary reasons I was excited about a move to HFA was because of the company culture. I am very excited to help promote a people-first culture by mentoring, empowering, encouraging, and monitoring the progress of those I serve and support,” said Jennings

Jennings will be responsible for helping HFA grow their Industrial and Logistics programs while also taking a leadership role in the Fort Worth studio. He’s excited to dive into HFA’s industrial portfolio, which contains some incredible distribution center work for some of the largest brick and mortar retailers in the world. However, it doesn’t stop there. Jennings is ready to collaborate with HFA’s teams supporting retail, grocery, c-store, multi-family, and office clients, as well.

Jennings has a proven track record of managing large teams well. In his recent past, he successfully managed a team of development managers for a major restaurant brand client with $370M+ in annual remodel spend. He has also had experience managing more than 30 retail and industrial remodels in Texas and Oklahoma over a three-year rollout period with minimal downtime to operations through a carefully planned phased remodel strategy.

"We are really excited to have Marc at HFA. Not only does Marc bring a strong background in architecture, construction, and project/program management that he can use to further cultivate the Logistics team, but what really stood out to us was the alignment in how he views how we can best lead both our people and our clients," said Ryan Ray, COO of HFA.

Jennings says he and the Logistics team are looking forward to positioning HFA as a dominant player in the industrial facility sector for both architecture and engineering in the months and years to come.‍

He concludes with, “I'm an empathetic problem solver at heart. I love to build and maintain lasting client partnerships by putting myself in their shoes, always keeping their best interests at the forefront of my solutions-based approach to design and development.”
