Project Info
HFA provided architectural and structural design services for the refresh with tenant reconfiguration of Derby Street Shops in Hingham, Massachusetts, completed in 2022. The project involved the remodel and reconfiguration of an existing 15,400-square-foot retail space to support the introduction of two new tenants within the center. Working on behalf of the landlord, HFA delivered landlord support services to re-demise a former single-tenant space into two distinct retail storefronts. The scope included significant façade rework and the completion of all landlord obligations required to prepare the spaces for tenant build-out. Throughout the project, HFA carefully balanced tenant design requirements with the existing architectural character of the retail center, ensuring a cohesive and seamless integration. The redevelopment added two nationally recognized brands, Pottery Barn and Shake Shack, strengthening the tenant mix while improving the appeal of the shopping center.
