Project Info
Plaza Tire Service was delivered as a new construction automotive service facility in Little Rock, Arkansas. The 6,550 square foot project was completed in 2025. HFA provided architecture, MEP, fire protection, fire alarm, and structural engineering services. The firm has completed more than ten locations for Sun Auto Tire and Service across its family of brands, including Plaza Tire. Several additional locations are currently in design and construction with multiple developers nationwide. The building includes an eight-bay service area with adjacent customer support spaces, including a customer waiting area, reception and checkout desk, private office, mop closet, and customer restrooms. The location focuses on routine vehicle maintenance services such as tire replacement, oil changes, brake service, and inspections. Collision and body repair work are not performed at this facility. HFA adapted the design to align with Sun Auto Corporate’s prototype requirements and brand guidelines for Plaza Tire while also meeting the intent of the development and landlord requirements. The team coordinated with an outside civil partner to align building and site needs. The result is a consistent, repeatable store experience that supports day-to-day service operations.
